Default Crossing out appointments (in Calendar) - can you do it?

Can you cross out entries in the Calendar (on iPAQs)?

Psions used to do this, and I found it a very helpful feature.

I appreciate that you can put items like this in the 'Tasks' list rather than Calendar, but I prefer to put them in Calendar as it makes me more productive.

(Have searched for this question on this forum and found nothing - apologies if it has been answered before).

Thanks.

You should be able to expire events.

It's in the options in Outlook.

Thanks, Getsurfers.

I've tried clicking on 'options' on my iPAQ, in Calendar mode, and 'expire event' isn't listed.

Is it the case that you cannot expire events on the iPAQ itself, or is it that you can but only on a more up-to-date iPAQ (I am using an old one - an H2210)?

Thanks for having taken the trouble to reply.

Using Outlook on my device I delete entries by 'press and hold' on the entry and choose delete appointment. I would have thought it's more to do with Outlook than the device. Hope it works for you.

I think you may need Outlook on a PC to enable the extra features that I can see in Outlook 2007.
