Save a file to PDA root?

Hello.
Just wondering if somebody can help me?

I have a HP Ipaq 914 with WIndows Mobile 6.1.

I have some software on my server that writes a file to C:\\filename.gif
when used with a PC, but this is being used with a pda, so what would the file path be to save this file in the root of my PDA?

I have trid, My Device:\\filename.gif but this wont work.

ANy ideas please?
