Default running with faulty battery

Hi all.

I have a Compaq iPAQ H3630 with a battery that is is dead. Since I want to install it into my car i don't need a battery.

However: when I start up the PDA I get the welcome screen followed by the align screen and to forth...very annoying!

Is there any way I can prevent this from happening? (use default setting?,other OS?)

BR

Nope, your device uses volatile memory which needs battery power in order to retain information.
