Default Windows Mobile Device Centre & Pocket PC

I have a Hewlet Packard H2210 PDA that runs Pocket PC version 4... etc Which I used to connect with Activsync. However this is not compatible with Windows 7 and I'm told that WMDC is the new Activsync. Problem is, all the info tells me that WMDC is not compatible with Pocket PC?

Anyone know any different?

Your 2210 should work with no problems

"You can use Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 only with devices running Windows Mobile 2003 or later. ActiveSync and Windows Mobile Device Center won’t work with Windows Embedded CE 4.2 or 5.0, Pocket PC 2002, or Smartphone 2002 devices."

Thanks, but this is the sort of problem I've found elsewhere. You say it will work but then say it will only work with Windows Mobile etc. Mine is running on Pocket PC.
ps. your link does not work - takes me to a page unknown link.

I've tried both links and both take me to the correct page so I'm not sure what happened when you clicked it.

if it doesn't work its the page for Windows mobile device centre so you should be able to download it from there if you haven't already.

I already have WMDC for my mobile phone, which incidentaly required Activsync 6.5 which the PDA would not opperate with. So I might just have to plug the PDA cradle in and see what happens when I connect it.

I'll let you know.

Just to update. I have attached the H2210 to the Windows 7 PC and WMDC has successfully downloaded the driver and connected the pocket PC to the computer.
