Hard reset HP 214

Has anybody else had problems with hard reset of HP 214. Instructions say to press Windows, OK, Record and Reset buttons at the same time for 2 seconds. It takes some contortion, but I have done it - a dozen times - but only ever get a soft reset. I am selling my 214 and need to clear all the settings and files. Any ideas?

It should say clean boot when you do it correctly.

I too am having trouble. I have forgotten my password, so have been trying to do a hard reset in order to be able to add a new password. But nothing seems to be working. I have found several ways listed on the net and none of them work. Whenever I push the reset button, no matter which other buttons I am pressing (last attempt was the method listed above), all that happens is the system restarts.

Please help!
