Angry WMDC probs with ipaq 214 and Win 7
I've just upgraded to the ipaq 214 from my HX4700 and it's great.
Only prob I have is WMDC. It fails to connect constantly using either the HP 24pin cable or USB cable and shows NOT CONNECTED

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate(64bit)

Any ideas on this or is there an alternative to WMDC which actually works?

Did you download the latest WMDC here?
Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 | Windows Vista Support
6.1 is the latest version and there is a 64 bit version of it.

I'd uninstall what you have loaded now then re download this.

Do you get any activiity in the system tray when the USB is connected?

Simple solution
Went back to my old HX4700 and upgraded it to WM6.1
