| | Welcome to our forums.
Have you tried to reset it? |

| | | Thanks,
Yes, I have tried that but without any help. Could that be "touch screen" itself wich is broken or some loose connection in it? |

| | It's a possibility, have you done both soft and hard resets? |

| | | I can not do soft reset because that tapping the screen test won`t pass in the beginning. Hard reset I have done. |

| | Sorry I'm a bit confused. Soft reset is a little button on the bottom edge of the iPAQ to thr right of the socket. A hard reset is when you press and hold button 1 (calendar) button 4 (iTask) and the reset button all at the same time....the screen will go dim....let go of the buttons and press the reset button again to power it back on. |

| | | Now I have tried both of resets and those won`t help me at all.
I opened my iPAQ yesterday and checked all wire connections (display ribbon cables also) and did not find any loose or broken connections or wire. Then I put all back together and start to twist whole ipaq a slightly.. Now my ipaq is responding screen tapping as fine as new one, but I guess it won`t last forever.
Is that "touch screen" unit glued to LCD or is there somekind of tape between LCD and touch screen? |

| | No idea as I've never taken a screen to pirces. Wouldn't imagine it was easy to replace just the touch-screen part though but good luck anyway | |
