Default Hp 4150

Two questions please.
1. ActiveSynch only backs up the device memory. Is there any software around that will back up my memory card data ?

2. How do I make a 'short cut' to programs or right up front, of a programme that I have running on my memory card without having to go into Explorer etc. each time ? It's a UK post code programme that sits on the top of TomTom navigator sat nav. You see what I mean...to put the post code in each time or when required is just a bit annoying...be better right up front.
Thanks.

1 - I don't know of any as I've never seen the need to do this. I'm sure there will be some. Try sites like tucows.com
2 - I suspect it is the UK postcode from Digitools? Go to its folder on your storage card then tap and hold on the ukpostcode executable file and select COPY, then navigate to the MY DEVICE --> WINDOWS --> START MENU folder and tap and hold on a blank space in the folder and select PASTE SHORTCUT. Next tap on START --> SETTINGS --> MENUS then check the "Shortcut to ukpostcode" box and it will appear on you START menu.

That's a good question. I can't find an answer to it or a way around it.
Sorry.

Set one of your buttons to start UK Postcodes up,then when TomTom is running and you want to use it its much easier to access

Hi, bit 'late reply' but regarding 1) - backup of sd card - i just plug it into my card reader in pc, make a directory on pc (/ipaq/sdcard update ddmmmyy) - copy the whole content of sd card and paste it into this directory on pc. bit cumbersome but if you have similar problems to me with dropped 'system' files on the card (their names are a square or a simple letter) making progs not working, its a great way to clean/reformat the card and just copy the lot back - pretty much same as a complete backup. mine's a 4350, virtually same machine.
