Default Problem configuring the correct "connection settings", IE. will not connect.

When I try to use IE to connect to the internet, I get "change connection settings".
I am trying connect an IPAQ h3970, with epansion jacket and PCMCIA card, with windows mobile 2002, wirelessly to an access point.

I have tried changing all three settings/connections to, Work, Work, Work, modifying the settings, deleting all other setting other than ticking "this network connects to the internet", in proxy settings.
With no joy.

I don't think I have a wifi problem. My card is an (Enterasys roamabout), re-branded orinoco classic gold card. It was installed on the pda with the manufactures lattest drivers. The card shows on the pda with good signal, correct SSID, channel, etc. My access point, a 3com combined wireless broadband modem, router. With DHCP enabled, is set to except the cards mac address.
I downloaded vxUtil onto the pda, showing all address, ther than Secondary DNS, Primary and Secondary WIMS. Even tried to ping my AP and Google with a 100% positive result.

Still no wireless internet connection. Incidently the pda will sync with my laptop. then I can connect.

If any one has any ideas, I would be grateful.

Default

Just to let you know I solved this problem by soft resetting my IPAQ.
