e-mail Settings - Retaining Old e-mails

Hi all,

When using my iPAQ rx3715 to check my e-mails I am finding that the messages that were previously downloaded to the Inbox get deleted. I have looked all over to try to find a setting to stop this but have so far come up blank. I would rather delete my e-mails manually than have this happen automatically.
