Default Ipaq 3715 - bluetooth keeps activating :s

IPAQ 3715

Good Morning

As a virgin user of an ipaq, I am seeking advice please...

I have installed TOmTom and all seemed quite well...

Yesterday, I installed Checkpoint and now every time I select TomTom the uit auto-selects bluetooth.

I do not want bluetooth operational and have disabled the functions.

Yet, every time I select TomTom it continues to attempt to connect to bluetooth.

I have removed Checkpoint and still it continues to attempt the connection,

Can anyone advise on how to stop this please ?

Many thanks

kba

Welcome to our forums.
If you runt the TomTom Wizard and select the wired receiver type then Bluetooth should not open in future.

Thank you Charlie

I have tried to reset via the qizrd - but it still continues to attempt the bluetooth connection. I have tried this five times, disabled the bluetooth services etc.. but still it continues to try...

Any otyher ideas before I lose the plot

Does a hard reset refer back to default status or am i going too far?

You could try to un-install TomTom GPS from the REMOVE PROGRAMS section then re-install it from the TomTom CD and it should return to the default cabled connection. The last resort is a hard reset which returns the PDA to the way it came out of ths box so you would ne to reinstall everything after that.
