Angry Connections ipaq 3850

Can you please help? I have an ipaq 3850 running T/T3. I get a screen message randomly saying unable to connect. I do not want to connect to the internet. how do Idisable the internet connection, to stop this message? It does'nt affect anything else at all it's just annoying. the message will even appear when powered down.The unit was bought second hand.Many thanks Timo
PS THE TROUBLE CONNECTING MESSAGE READS---- UNABLE TO CONNECT WITH CURRENT SETTINGS. TO CHANGE YOUR CONNECTION SETTINGS, TAP SETTINGS

Default

The easy way to stop it is to hard reset the PDA and then re-install the TomTom software. That'll clear out any internet/connection settings that were on the PDA.
