Default Belkin wireless keyboard and iPAQ 2210

Hi All,

First time here...

I've bought a Belkin wireless keyboard to use with my ipaq 2210, and can't get it to work.

Here's the really thicket question: where is the IR port/reciever on the iPAQ? You have to align a reflector on the Belkin cradle, but I don't know how or where to position it.

Mind you, wherever I do position it, it still don't work.
Help!

Heebee

Welcome to our forums.
The IR port is on the top of the 2210 behind the dark plastic that surrounds the CF/SD slots.

Thanks, Charlie, I thought it must be there or thereabouts, but wasn't sure. Was even starting to wonder if it had a port at all!

Now I just need to figure out why my wireless keyboard doesn't work...

Sorted it. Well, sorted it a couple of days ago, then realised I should post here for the archives.

I was just playing around with it, whilst twiddling with the reflector thingy, when it burst into life. You have to get the reflector angle correct, then it'll work fine.

My initial probs were due to not knowing where the IR detector was, and not helped by the keyboard not having any sort of tell-tale light to indicate its working.

Thanks for your help, guys.
