Default Help it's gone flat

My 4700 has gone flat and lost all the programs, do I have to load them all again from the original CDs or can I do it from active sync?
When I have connected it to the PC It says I already have one called "pocketpc" and wants a new name.

You will need to delete the PocketPC partnership from Activesync so you can use that name again. You will need to load your software again.
