Default ipaq 3970 issues please help

can anyone help me i have an ipaq 3970 and i recently dropped it and cracked the screen. is there anywhere this can be fixed and how much will it cost.

also i have tried to load video clips on it but it will not play, i hear the speaking but the pics are frozen, i think its a memory issue but how do i solve it .

You can get it repaired by HP ( about £150 - £200 ) or you could try http://www.pdatechcenter.nl/index.html or http://www.ipaqrepair.co.uk/ . I've never used either of those companies but people on here have used them in the past.
If the problem with the videos has only started since you dropped the iPAQ then it may be a more serious issue, otherwise try a hard reset. Also if you get it repaired make sure you have the latest ROM updates and firmware updates from HPs support site.

thanks the video problem has always been there.

repair is quite expensive it might be cheaper to buy a replacement off of ebay

It probably will be cheaper that way. The video issue may be related to the type of video you are trying to play...bitrate/format etc but if your not getting the screen fixed then it won't make much difference.
