Can anyone tell me why the clock screen has 'squiggles' beside the radio buttons? I've noticed the same thing when installing Tom Tom Navigator -- I just had to guess at which box to click to proceed!

I don't see any squiggles on the 2210 I have here. Maybe your PDA is suffering from some problems. How long have you had it and has it always been like that?

Bought new in November '04 and yes it has always been like that. Everything else has been perfect. I cannot find any ascii equivalents for the 'squiggles' but for example, beside the upper radio button are a vertically aligned rectangle, two thirds of a circle and half of a box shape (top and left side)!!

If it's still in warranty get onto HP, they should be able to sort it if it's a fault.

At least, some models I think had 2.

Incidentally, I contacted HP as you suggested and was told to do a hard reset and let them know the result.
Now I have to read up on the problems with backups and TT3 (ouch)!
