Unhappy ipaq 3970

Hi
today I upgraded my 3970 to windows 2003.
I have set up all the bluetooth from the 3970 to my desktop and it will allow me to access the internet.
However. It allowed me to sign in to messenger twice and now I can't get msn messenger to log in. It says the service is unavailable. So, instead I try to go through IE to browse some web pages and I get the message 'The page you are looking for cannot be found' It was fine earlier. Why would it all of a sudden do this?
It shows that its connected to the internet in my bluetooth manager on the 3970 and also on the desktop pc, I just can't do anything anymore....

Any ideas please?

Thanx in advance.

Welcome to our forums.
Did you install the latest MSN Messenger update from Microsofts site?

Thanks for the welcome.
Yes I have installed the update, that was one of the first problems I came across.
If I go online through the cradle everything is fine.
Then I turn on the bluetooth, both the pda and the desktop says I am connected to the internet. The signal strength shows 'Just right' but I just can't do anything, just like it wasn't online.

I have tried it a few times last night, and twice it worked fine, then the next 20ish times it wouldn't. It seems very hit and miss......

And very strange ! LOL Its driving me bonkers LOL

What BT dongle/drivers have you installed on your PC?

Its a Belkin Bluetooth dongle....how would I tell what the driver is?

Actually I will go do a windows update.....see if there are any updates....

I was under the impression that Belkin was quite good. Would this make a difference?

Belkin are quite good but make sure your Windows is up to date and you have the latest drivers from Belkins website.
