Red face Hp5550 volume problem

Hi

I've never been too happy with the volume on my PDA as even at it's highest it's not very loud. This has become more of a problem now that I am using the checkpoint/tomtom as I can't always catch the directions and warnings if I'm on a 'nosiy' road. My friend's HP3715 absolutely blasts out even at a low volume setting and this has made me more aware of how poor mine seems in comparison.

I did see on a different thread the possbility of adding some kind of speakerphone but I don't know if this is possible on my system and have serached various sites , but I can't seem to see anything that might be compatible.

Am I being a bit dim and have just missed how to set it right? Does anyone have any ideas or is experiencing the same problem?

thanks in advance

The audio volume on the 55XX is quite a bit lower than some other models. Maybe you should consider an amplified car mount such as the Seidio G2500 model for your iPAQ.
