ipaq 6340/tomtom5 "no gps device"

Hi all, OK so maybe I've missed something obvious but I've been given tomtom 5 as a birthday present to use with my my ipaq 6340 but I get a "no gps device" message. I've got the GPRS configured and working, do I need more hardware, have I missed something? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

is it TomTom5 software only or the Bluetooth kit?
