iPaq 2200 sound problem

Hi folks

My ipaq 2200 is working perfectly, except the sound seems to have gone. I have performed a number of hard resets and the sound comes on for a short while, albeit very low, but then shortly afterwards disappears again.

I have whacked the sound level to it's highest but am getting nowhere, can anyone advise how to fix ?

Welcome to our forums.
Try headphones in it to see if theres still sound. If there is then it maybe the speaker that has failed. Try inserting and removing the headphone plug a few times as it may just be a poor connection in the socket.
Other than that it might need to be repaired...contact HP if it's still in warranty.
