Good morning.
I have a HP3715, which I did not use for several weeks, I am now unable to get it to do anything, will not switch on etc.
Reading other postings on the forum, it would appear that there is a potential problem with batteries on these IPAQ's, machine is still quite new, so would be dissapointed if battery is dead.
Is battery dead, or am I just being really dense?

Have you tried charging the battery? Can you switch it on whilst it is charging? Not sure about iPAQS, but on my mobile phone, if the battery goes flat it can sometimes take a couple of minutes before it starts to charge.

Hi David, thanks for the reply, yes have tried this, using the USB power charger and the desktop cradle.

Try connecting the charger directly to the bottom of the PDA using the adapter that was supplied with it...press the reset button a few times after connecting it up. If it still won't come on then leave it plugged in like that for 30mins - 1 hour then try resetting it again. If all else fails get in touch with HP in case its faulty.
