Default ActiveSync connecting to Internet

When I place my H2210 in its cradle to charge and sync etc, ActiveSync starts up as I have set it to do. However before it gets to the checking for changes bit it always brings up the 'connect to internet' window. I can select cancel but does anyone know how to stop this. The only items I have set to sync are Contacts, Calendar, and Files.

Thanks

You mean from your firewall software?

Could be asking to allow access to the TCP/IP ports which active sync needs to connect to your PDA. In this instance you'd need to allow it.

If you can post the FULL message you get, and also which program is prompting you.

It's not the firewall, just the normal connection window which you select which modem to use and your username and password etc. (only does it if i'm off line)

Only way you could do it is change your net connection settings to never dial a connection internet explorer>tools>options>connections tab.

This would mean though, you'd need to manually connect to the net each time.
