Unhappy WiFi, Bluetooth and Network Adapters - hx2790, Nokia 6820, wifi, bluetooth

I thought this connecting stuff up networking thingy was easy... I'd built a wireless and wired network at home

But then I bought an hx2790!

My first question is - what are all the Network Adapters about?
  1. AsyncMac NDISWAN Miniport
  2. L2TP NDISWAN Miniport
  3. PPTP NDISWAN Miniport
  4. Virtual Ethernet Intermediate Miniport
  5. Remote-NDIS Host
  6. NE2000 Compatible Ethernet Driver
  7. Bluetooth PAN User Driver
  8. HP iPAQ Wi-Fi Adapter
Under the Configure Network Adapters section, I can choose whether my network card connects to Work or the Internet, but I have no idea what all these adapters are, what their settings should be or how the iPAQ knos which one to use for what connection.

I'd like to set things up to enable me to connect to the internet via Bluetooth to GPRS on my Nokia. I have GPRS on my Nokia with Vodafone, and that works fine.
I'd also like to connect to my home 108.11b wireless network, via the Belkin F5D6230-3 Wireless Cable Gateway Router, and access the internet through my Blueyonder broadband connection.
I also have a works Netgear wireless ADSL router, but to surf on the laptop, I have to go via Juniper Networks Windows Secure Access Manager and use a proxy server. I can't even get on to the internet with my ipaq in the cradle yet, unless I dial in to the office via a landline on the laptop first

Anyone care to treat me to a 'pillock's' guide?

btw - can't seem to get bvrp bt phone manager live update to work either
