Hi, A complete newcomer and very green! I run Tom Tom on my HP and I would like to amplify the speech. I already have a Carcomm cradle. Is there anything I can buy which will amplify the sound and, if possible, also act as a loudspeaker for my Bluetooth phone?

Hi. Normally the car cradle will amplify the speech, but if you go into properties in your Tom Tom programme you can adjust the volume from there. I had to turn mine down a bit, so it should be loud enough for most people.

Mines plenty loud enough, you must have a noisy vehicle, LOL

The other option of course is an fm transmitter, plugs into the headphone socket and transmits to your car radio from the pda, also great for mp3's.

search ebay, they are very cheap
or you can hard wire to the back of some radios from your headphone socket.
