Weird sync issues with H5550

I hope I can explain this clearly. I just recently purchased a new H5550, it fits my needs well. Everything is working, except the sync is weird. I set it up as instructed and also set up for my wireless network here at home. I don't sync to my companies servers, just my own PC.

Anyway I was having issues with it dropping the sync, while doing some upgrades and at different times, when I would go to the PC to connect it would not do it, but if I went to the PDA it would then sync. After many days of fidgeting with it I realized that it was never synchronizing with the cradle but wireless. I have tried every combination I can to remedy this but as soon as I turn off the wireless connection I lose my sync.

This issue has kept me from being able to update my ROM because each time it starts the wireless connection is lost and it just sits while not synced anymore.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
