HP HX2790 problems

My iPAQ has not been used for a while but is new,i keep getting a message pop up saying "cannot execute repllog.exe" and "cannot execute \windows\credstartup.exe,i have tried a hard reboot by pressing the button in the hole at the bottom of my ipaq and now it has just frozen at a screen that has a progress bar which fills up but freezes when it is full,any help would be much appreciated.

Pretty sure this same issue was posted and given a response on the HP support forums recently.
