Default hp rx3715 repair

Hi there, having a problem with my ipaq, it keeps cutting out. I reckon the problem is to do with the battery compartment as it seems when any pressure is applied to the back plate the unit cuts out, or if the unit is tipped a certain way it does the same. I've tried a different battery and it does charge to full and sometimes works for a while before cutting out.

I put it down to a loose connection/bad solder joint somewhere on the main board.

Who would I contact to see about getting this diagnosed and repaired (preferably near Glasgow otherwise by mail would be good ) ?

Cheers
Paul

Try WWW.IPAQREPAIR.CO.UK. Its a dedicated HP/IPAQ repair/spares site.
I had exactly the same prob as you quote on my 2210. I "E-mailed " the symtoms to the above and
they diagnosed battery compartment cover replacement ...cost £9.00 approx ---
