Default ipaq rz1710 with tom tom

hi, I have an ipaq rz1710 with TT5. I have used it for over a year with UK and Europe maps and was very happy with it. I recently kicked it up and whenever I go to Tom Tom I get a low memory message with an option to close a program. Since TT is the only program open this isn't satifactory.
I seem to have a lot in the ' recent destinations' folder. I don't know how to delete these or even if it would hep anyway. Can anyone help please?
Thanks, John

Have you tried a soft reset?

Some files seem to get locked, and end up remaining in use despite the problem having closed and nothing actually using them.

Normally my 2790 has 67%. Open and shut TT and this drops to approx 50% with nothing else running. Eventually I get this back, but a reset is the quickest way - the only way if the PDA or TT crashes/freezes.

HI, thanks for the reply.
I have tried a soft reset, but I will again. I've just been checking it all again and the memory drop doesn't seem to be consistent. When I go to look at memory usage then programs taking high memory, it comes up with quite a list but I can't seem to find a way of deleting these. I'll just hhave to keep playing I guess.
thanks again, john
