Default HP HX2790 - need to do email out on site

Hi there! - first post!

I need to be able to do my email out on site, but not sure if this will work.

I currently have a sony ericsson w800i which I use to do just this (all pop accounts) it leaves the messages on the server rather than downloading it to my phone. I can reply to messages through it and when I get home I download all the messages to my inbox. But it is a crude setup at best and the messages I send from my phone dont appear in my sent items box on my pc.

I have been looking at the HX2790. Will this do what I need? I dont have microsoft exchange setup yet and need to do it all with pop accounts.

If it does download the messages to the PDA, will it sync them back into the inbox on my computer when I stick it back into the cradle?

I intend to use my phone as the modem for the PDA unless there is a wireless spot I can use.

I need to get this set up pretty soon, so I'd really appreciate any help or advice.

Kind rgeards

Paul

You can download emails and it should leave a copy on the server. This means it will still download to outlook on your PC. Sent message probably wont appear in your sent folder on your pc unless you have an exchange server set up.

Try here for an exchange server this gives you push email as well same as a blackberry.

Give me a call if you want to order the PDA as we only have a few in stock at the moment.
