Does the router have encryption?

I can connect fine to open networks, yet try and use an encrypted one using the default wi-fi manager and it fails everytime.

So, I loaded Oddessy from the 2790's CD, and it works a treat on encrypted networks.

Also ensure that you don't have MAC filtering enabled, or that if you do you add the iPaq's MAC address into the 'allowed' list. The SSID and encyption keys are case sensitive, and must be entered exactly as stored on the router.

Easy way:

Install oddessy onto your PDA
Ensure SSID broadcast is enabled on your router.
Use oddessy to locate your network, and proceed to set it up.
Enter the passphrase or hex for your encryption. Leave any IP address boxes blank, as your router will assign these.
Once connected, and for security, disable SSID on your router again.
