HP IPAQ 2190 Wireless surfing question

Having tried to configure my HP IPAQ 2190 for wireless surfing to my wireless access point, I noticed on the instruction manual, it says I might have to buy additinoal hardware, etc to do this. Is this true? If so, what would i have to buy?

The 2190 doesnt have a wifi so you would need one of these.
