Question Using keyboards with PDA

Hi,
I am very pleased with my ipaq 1940 and have it working fine to the internet either via BT and mobile or wifi via wireless sd card.
However I find the visual keyboard input very fiddly.
Please can someone tell me how a keyboard could work for me on the 1940.
I see there are ones which connect directly so do not allow simultaneous charging/power supply. Would I be able to use one of these for browsing the www? ..or only for writing off line?
How about a BT keyboard - would that allow access to the web at the same time? .. or would there be a clash with a BT connection.
I just cannot understand how a keyboard interacts with a PDA and would be very interested to hear anyones experience of using them.

Paul

Bluetooth would only connect to one device at a time so you could connect to internet using bluetooth and type.

The only compatible keyboard we sell for the 1940 is the bluetooth version.

Thanks Martin,
Only one BT device at a time then So I would have to connect to the internet via wifi if I wanted to use a BT keyboard. What about IR to connect to my phone at the same time as using the keyboard?

All depends. Some BT devices can accept upto 5 simultanious connections. Obv data transfer speed will reduce the more data transfered, and more devices used.

Sure most HP's with in-built BT have a limit of 3. If an add in card, then check with the manufacturer for the limit.
