hard reset

I am new to PDAs and I am trying to figure out how to reset 2 different models. I am working on an iPAQ2110 and an iPAQ2190. I have found some instruction online, but nothing very useful. I have had to reset both models by pulling the battery and letting it die. There has to be an easier way. Can anyone give me some direction on this?

While holding down on the far left (calendar) and far right (iTask) press in on the reset button (reset hole) with your stylus for about 2-3 seconds. The Pocket PC should reset and power back on. If the device does not power back on, make sure that the battery lock switch is to the left (locked).
