Default HEWLETT PACKARD IPAQ HX 2490 Pocket PC

Hi everyone I am new here, I am looking to buy this pda on the title from www.totalpda.co.uk. This is my first time buying from this website and I would like some comments on other peoples experience from buying from here. Has anyone got the HP IPAQ HX 2490 and if so how do you find it?

Thanks
James

Bought my last 2 devices, and their accessories from here

I have the 2790, which is more or less the same (has biometric security which 2490 doesnt).

Very impressed, and no issues with it at all. My first venture into HP after using Dell.

Hi, Norway calling.
I got the 2490 and I am very satisfied. I am mostly using it as a calender and a notebook. It syncronizes very well with my tabletop computer. I am also using it together with a Holux GPS receiver as a navigation unit.

hello, i bought the 2410 from total PDA. after the warranty had ran out, the screen wouldn't recognize taps in the centre of the screen. i done all the resets and stuff to get it to work but to no avail. i upgraded to the 2490b again from total PDA, and only after a couple of months the screen has done the same. i have had so much negative help from HP about this matter. i really need advice on how this can be repaired. if i can't get this repaired i'll be satying well clear of HP. any help will be greatly appreciated.

cheers in advance

HP are saying that the problem is a screen problem and comes under a non warranty repair. i'll give them another go and see what happens.

cheers for the advice
