Question help with media player

hi guys i am new here do go easy. I have a HP ipaq HX4700 my Q is when i go in to media player select a movie and it plays then go to full screen it still stays the same size as when it had all the buttons round it. My Q there for is how do i make the film fit the hole screen when i click on the button. Any ideas would be great thanks

It depends on the size of the recording.

What size was the movie ripped at?

um i dont knmow but the manual says that when u click the full screen button it should fill the hole screen why does it not. It is only a small video at 2.30mb the bit rate is 150. I can make it fill the screen on the comp but cant on the ipaq do you know why this is

ok it think i have the found the prob it is because the video is in a QVGa format and the ipaq will only play full screen in VGA format. So this leads me to another prob of how to change the format

Not easily without the original, and re-ripping it to the correct format.

You could try media player on your PC to change it.

i have tryed to but i realy dont know how to is the prob. I have put the same Q on a computor video forum and i will let you guys know if they have an answer or if any one else has the answer please post!

Have you tried tcpmp player? this is the best player around and has a zoom function too, a fill the screen function etc, and it plays about anything you throw at it. much better than media player and best of all its free.

I also have the hx4700 and use tcpmp player and have had no problems with it, you just open file, when its loaded tap the screen and it rotates the screen, goes into full screen and starts playing it.

thanks so so so so much badgerdid that tcpmp player is great and has solved all of the video probs and again to any one who is having the same prob badgerdid has solved it! tcpmp player is the answer!
