Unhappy Ipaq 6915 and TomTom

Hi,
Help please - am going mad.
I have a 6915 with TomTom Navigator 5 loaded (I believe it is loaded in ROM?)
I managed to get the free city map and it works fine.
Now I have purchased the Western Europe map. This is supposed to come with Navigator 6.
I have transferred the map to the 6915 SD storage card.
I am not sure where the Navigator 6 software has gone but basically when I fire up the GPS Navigation icon (there is no TomTom icon anywhere) it runs Navigator 5 and the only map I can access is the free city map and not the map on the SD card.
I have been on their website and got the activation code but where do you input it?

If any of you guys can help I would be grateful.

Thanks in advance
Neil
