Angry Help - volume on HP iPAQ rw6815

Can anyone tell me how I can increase the volume on my rw6815? I have missed dozens of 'phone calls because it doesn't ring at a loud enough volume for me to notice.

I have the volume setting at maximum, but it doesn't make any difference.

Any help gratefully received.

Have you tried changing the ring tone? Some are louder than others.

I have tried various ring tones and some are a little better than others. However, even the loudest tones are still too quiet to hear, for example, when a passenger in a moving car or if there is any other form of background noise.

The volume is much quieter than any other mobile phone I've ever owned. Is there a restriction on the volume that can be removed?

No there shouldnt be any restriction on it. Have you set the volume using the speaker icon at the top of the screen? If thats the case then you might want to get in touch with HP it could be a speaker fault. 08708422339
