Default SD card freezes Ipaq 3950

I have an ipaq 3950 which has worked perfectly for many months using SD cards. I am running pocketpc 2003.

suddenly, recently, however, the ipaq has refused to run with any SD card in the slot - i have tried a few. If i either turn the Ipaq on with the card in or insert the card after it is powered up has the same effect. the ipaq just freezes and the display gradually fades away to nothing. i have tried reformatting the cards but it makes no difference. I have tried a 16mb, 1gB and 2gb card.

I have done a hard reset but it makes no difference.

Anyone help?

That doesnt sound too good. You could try www.ipaqrepair.co.uk

Not sure how much it would cost to repair though.

If your looking for a new model you might want to look at this one.
