HP IPAQ2790 Tomtom Nav 6 compatibility issues

I have installed Tom Tom Nav 6 on my IPAQ2790 and the sound disappears. The volume control goes to lowest and if you try to increase it it just returns to lowest!! When i uninstall Nav 6 still no sound I need to do a hard reset. Also Tomtom Nav 6 is useless with no voice directions. Anyone who been through this before please help!!
