4150 WLAN issue... Hello.
I have an issue with my iPaq. I've just started using it for business and I've noticed something. I flashed the ROM to v1.10 about a year ago and ever since then, the Wi-fi hasn't been behaving. It would see my - or any - router but fail to connect. On a hunch the other day I rolled the ROM back to v1.00 and found the the WLAN was working correctly from then, seeing and connecting. However, the backup file that I had made prior to that was made when the ROM was 1.10 and restoring that backup file made the wi-fi fall over again.
Now short of a long and laborious process of finding every programme I had and reinstalling them and then updating my contacts, I was wondering - as you can select which bits of the backup file are restored - if anyone out there had any hints or tips on which bits I could deselect when I restore to get contacts and programmes back but laid on the v1.00 BIOS? Not selecting the registry, for example.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Oh, if that's not enough, I'm about to migrate to Missing Sync as my business needs require a Mac. So no doubt I'll be back to cry about that. Sorry if a question like this has been asked elsewhere on the boards, but I had a look and couldn't see any. Apologies if it a double.
Many thanks.
