Default IPAQ 214 - Tomtom GPS power plus Ipaq Power Car cable

Hi,

I've upgraded my HX4700 to a HP 214.

I'm looking for the car power cable, that has both the tom time GPS power and IPAQ 214 power connector on so both can be powered while driving.

The 214 has changed power connectors from the HX4700 and the cable I have is no longer valide.

Not sure if this belongs in the HP or tomtom forum, please move as apporpriate.

Thanks.

Hi there is a workaround if you cannot match up the power connector - use a 12V car invertor to 240V and have separate supplies to each - about £19. Just a thought. Pete.

I just use a double socket from the cigar lighter with a usb lead to the 214 although I now use a Bluenext GPS which charges off usb also
you can buy a single cigar lighter plug with 2 usb sockets on it as well

just a thought as a follow up to my previous comment - you need to set usb charging and fast charging on in power settings
