Excellent HP support!

I just wanted to share here what excellent support I have had from HP.
I bought a refurbished iPAQ 5935 from www.totalpda.co.uk but was not able to get any GPS signal.
On Monday I called HP support, they asked me to initialise it by mounting it in a car and driving for 30 minutes at 50 to 60 kph! (I was sceptical - but what can you do!) I tried this on Wednesday to no avail.
However, on Thursday, THEY rang ME! to ask if it was working - we agreed it had a fault. HP arranged for it to be collected next day, Friday and said I should get it back in 8 - 10 working days. The following WEDNESDAY it returned (From Budapest, Hungary!!) with a new motherboard and is working fine.

Having suffered from some of the worst support (aka BT Broadband!!) I was totally gob smacked!

So, I thoroughly recommend HP for new and refurbished support!

Had a similar problem with a 5720. Phoned them on Tuesday. HP uplifted from work on Wednesday. Had it fixed and back to me at work on the Monday after.

You don't get many problems with them but if you do HP sort it out very quickly.
