Default Problems with iPaq 314

Hi
As I can't get onto the HP website to download the Content Manager software.
( long story ) I tried linking the PC and 314 directly with the USB cable, sure enough the PC reconised the device and I could copy over some music files.
But this only works sometimes. It seems random - sometimes the PC will show the ipaq as an external hard drive - sometimes it says the hard drive is not formatted - sometimes it says - please insert a disk ?
Does every one have this problem ?

You can download HP Content Manager from www.rtfm.co.uk/staff/heatsi/ContentManager.zip - should be quicker than HP's website!

Thanks for the link.
I got an email confirmation this morning and my account is now all setup.

I get the device as one drive and the SD card showing as a second drive.

you can then use windows explorer to navigate around the device - copy files etc.

Tim
