I can't find that option in the menu selection "Add Server Source" - see above!

Are you sure we're talking Mobile 6?
I also have WM6 you can Add Server Source after you have started Active Sync from the start menu then click on the Menu on the bottom right of the screen & it is there.

Thanks Martin, that's a very helpful post and I hope has solved my mysterious battery drain probs on my otherwise lurverly 214 !!!!
It begs the enormous question of why on earth did HP set it up like this ????

I've been reading this thread with great interest as I have two of 214's.

Could someone define the correct procedure to "power off" the 214, as pressing the power button seems to put it into a standby mode that still rapes the battery

Darcym, PDA's dont switch off. They simply sleep, as you've found.

If they are killing the battery, then ensure wi-fi and bluetooth are off unless being used, set "turn off if not used after...." is set to something like 3 minutes, and the fake server trick is used.

Over an entire weekend, you shouldnt see much battery usage. My ipaq used 6% this weekend, and seeing as the battery's a few years old now, is about right.
