Default IPAQ214 Keyboard problem!

Purchased yesterday (from Total PDA), my IUPAQ214 worked fine ... until the keyboard changed to a completely different type - top left now is a '123' which switches to an all special characters keyboard. The basic keyboard has no 'shift' or cap keys - but does have keys to access foreign characters (accents etc).

I want to get back to the original keyboard - I have tried a reset, the System settings, checking the language (English UK), and pressed almost every button in sight. Nothing I do can get the original keyboard back.

There is nothing in the On Line manual - just mentions use the keyboard as one of the four entry methods...

Help!! Please PLEASE - what am I missing here!????

OK, its back to 'normal'. I think it was because I set the keyboard to 'large keys' - which meant for some silly reason that the Shift key goes. OK, one can use 'gestures' to get caps, and it was whilst playing with that I noticed it had gone back to normal. So I guess it was key size that does it. Strange though.

Oh well. We live and learn....

(Very nice macbhine btw - far better than my very old and near decrepit Jornado 500series - and half the cost. This one has features I missed on the Jornada - such as the ability to search for an event in the calendar, and to plug in SD cards.)
