Default i-mate PDA2k Syncing with Novell Groupwise

Hi,

I recently got an i-mate PDA 2k EVDO and have been investigating syncing programs with Novell Groupwise 6.0.2. I have notice a few problems, especially one where the PDA 'times out' and is not seen by the syncing program (non-program specific) - the fix is to simply remove and replace the PDA from its cradle - a little annoying though.

I am just wondering if anyone else has tried syncing with Groupwise, and what their experience has been to date.

I am trialling Intellisync, Nexic Synchronis and Portamail and will post some of my findings shortly. Anyone else's experience would be great to hear!

Many thanks!

Thanks Steven,

The first link is the one I have been working through. My update to date is:
Intellisync often wants to delete and rewrite all your addresses, and often doubles everything up (a real pain when you have over 500 contacts). Nexic Synchronous is quite a neat program, but uses it's own calendar program/icon. No appointements show in the 'Today' section - you have to specifically open the Groupwise Calendar to see your appointments.
Portamail, so far, doesn't have any of the above problems. I just had to make sure that the first sync was Groupwise to PDA, then subsequent syncs can be both ways.

I hadn't seen the second link, but I have seen the product. Oh, if only we lived in a perfect world! Unfortunately our IT staff are a bit behind the times, and only have Groupwise 6.0.2 and with over 1000 computers it will take some time before they change the SOE : (

So until then, I'll press on with my testing of other PDA sync programs!
