Navman ICN 530 Charging Issue

Navman ICN 530 Charging Issue

No matter if I try to charge from the car, PC or mains the orange charge light doesn't come on and the unit is dead. Does this mean the unit is completely dead or just the battery, this unit is around 4 years old.
