icn 530 frozen problem

my m8 has a icn 530 navman and was messing about with it. he thinks he was trying to update the maps but isnt totally sure because it was a while ago. now when he tries to turn it on it sticks at the 1st screen. how do i fix this

also would anyone know where i can download the firmware for this navman? im looking for the files i put onto a sd card and boot from it. does anyone know where i can find it? ive looked everywere and cant find them at all.
