Angry Maps and language selection

Hi!

I own an iCN510 that came with the Spain CD.

I am used to work with it in spanish language.

A friend got me from internet the Europe maps CD´s and I bought a separate SD 512MB card to store europe maps.

I´ve used SmartSTDesktop V3 to store the maps into the SD card.

When I install the new card in the iCN it restarts itself in english language. Even being selected the "language selection option" on startup it´s impossible to access the language selection menu. I´ve tried resetting the device but it is no use: the language selection menu is no longer available.

When I come back to the original supplied SD card (with Spain maps) then the language selection menu IS available again. Select spanish language, shutdown the iCN and change SD Cards: back to english and no language selection menu available.

Does this have solution?

Is this being caused by the Europe maps CD´s (they probabily are "not very legal copies").

Thanks for your support.

Welcome to our forums.
It is likely because they are dubious copies which I'm afraid we cannot discuss on our forums.

Charlie: it was only a software problem. Once the iCN soft was updated everything worked fine... even with those bootleg copies
