Default Max SD storage card supported by the ICN520?

Hi,
what is the maximum SD storage card supported by the icn 520. Wanting to use 2GB card to fit all of europe maps on. If this is supported what speed SD is
recommended.

Navman only briefly mention to use a 512 MB card, however this means multiple cards will be required to load all maps. The Pan Western European maps are about 1600 MB in size.

cheers

Hi,
I am using a 1Gb card on my 520, dont know about 2Gb I did read that having loads of data on a card might slow the operation down a bit.
hope this helps.

Hi - I have put a 2 GB SD card and all the PAN European maps on my Navman ICN 520. No problem in the Nordic - but I keep receiving an error when I calculate for a route from my home in Denmark to South of France - "Assert Failure: -v1_17_0031\mapcore\src\mapdata\enroad.c Line 442 Test: os_exit() called" - I have asked for technical assistance to determine the menaing of this mesage.

Cheers
